Clark Leo Dunlap
Clark Leo Dunlap, 63, of Jamestown, NY, passed away unexpectedly on March 22, 2026. Born July 8, 1962, he was the son of Catherine Champion and Robert Dunlap. Though he lived in New York, his heart was always in Florida, a place he loved deeply.
Clark will be remembered for his generosity, humor, and the unconditional love he gave so freely. He had a special way of making people laugh and was always there for anyone in need.
He was a devoted father to Robert Leo Dunlap and Marianne Katherine. During his years with his former wife, Mary Ann Dunlap, he also lovingly embraced Jack Calhoun; Gene (Tammy) Calhoun; Michelle (Wayne) Parker; Teresa (Gerald) Haglund; and Cheryl (Kevin) Lawson as his own. To Clark, there were no “step” children–only family.
Clark adored his grandchildren, each holding a special place in his heart. From Marianne’s children–Alivia, Alana, and Braelynn–to Robert’s children–Trinity, Leo, and Wyatt–as well as the many grandchildren he claimed as his own through the children he helped raise: Amber, Brandon, Austin, Destiny, Dustin, Christopher, Sean, Kimberly, Ashley, Kristina, Joseph, Aerial, Luke, and Eli.
Clark worked as a contractor for many years and took pride in his work. He enjoyed music, especially country, playing guitar, working on cars, and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Shawn Dunlap. He is survived by his children, grandchildren, extended family, and all who loved him. His memory will live on in the laughter he shared and the love he gave.
A private service will be held Monday, March 30, 2026, from 12 -2 p.m. at Riccardi’s Hubert Funeral Home.
