Carol Sanders
Carol Sanders, 67, of Bridgman passed away peacefully at home on Monday, Feb. 9, 2026. There was a gathering for family and friends on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026 in Stevensville. Carol was born on Jan. 21, 1959 in Jamestown, NY to Edward and Joanne “Sue” Freeman. Carol graduated from Jamestown High School in 1977 and from the State University of New York at Oneonta with a BS in Dietetics in 1981. Carol worked in a variety of healthcare settings in New York and Michigan providing excellent nutrition care to many. Carol loved her family and her dogs. She loved spending time at her family’s cottage on Chautauqua Lake and she loved cheering on the Buffalo Bills.
Carol is survived by daughters, Hanna Sanders and Sara Sanders; her parents, Ed and Sue Freeman; and her brother, Jim (Shirley) Freeman. She is also survived by two stepchildren, Melissa Sanders and Wesley Sanders, and by several cousins, nieces and a nephew.
