Barbara Jean Darling

She was born on June 4, 1944 in Corry, PA, a daughter of the late Neil and Evelyn Bates Peck.

The majority of her working career was spent at Cummins Engine Co in Lakewood.

She enjoyed many hobbies over the years including bowling, ceramics, and yard sales. Her true joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren. She especially looked forward to her granddaughter Tara and family coming up from Florida every year for her birthday.

Barb is survived by her husband Robert Darling; three daughters: Terrie Sellen, Ronalee (John) Rose, Cheryl (Mark) Tremblay; eleven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; a sister Ginny Bunce; and her pet cat Lola.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter Tina Miller and three brothers: Paul, Lyle, and Rich Peck.

Friends will be received from 5-7 pm on Thursday, March 26, 2026 in Peterson Funeral Home, Frewsburg. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Frewsburg.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Chautauqua County Humane Society, 2825 Strunk Rd., Jamestown, NY 14701.
