Steven D. Boardman

He was born on Aug. 9th, 1973 in Jamestown. The son of Steven and Sally Boardman.

Steve was a 1992 graduate of Southwestern High School.

Steve was employed with Carlson’s Trucking where he spent many miles on the road with some of his closest friends. He was also employed at Harmony Auto Parts in Ashville for many years until their closing.

Steve was a member of Busti Men’s Association where he spent time with friends playing poker, attending race parties, and enjoying breakfast on Sundays. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing with his friends and family. On the weekends you would find him at a dirt track helping in the pits, prepping tires, or watching his family and friends race. Steve started as a race car driver and shared his love of racing with his children. There were many years spent at go-kart tracks around New York and Pennsylvania enjoying the sport.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Karen M. Boardman; three children: Michael (Wriana Ross) Boardman, Hannah (Nyle) Bird, Maggie Boardman; a brother John (Jennifer) Boardman; and two sisters Amy Watson and Kathy Purdy. As well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother Bryan B. Boardman, who passed away on Jan. 21st, 2024.

A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
