Sharon Lee Beckerink tenPas

She was born June 1, 1942 in Corry, PA, the daughter of the late Howard and Helen Croscutt Beckerink.

Sharon was a 1960 graduate of Clymer High School and a 1961 graduate of Jamestown Business College.

She was a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church and served as Church Pianist, Sunday School teacher, and Bus Ministry for many years. Her favorite Bible verse was, “Follow peace with all men and holiness without which no man shall see the Lord.” Hebrews 12:14. Being born again at age 26, she has faithfully served her Savior all these years.

Surviving are her three children: Eugene tenPas of Kennedy; Marty (Kathy) tenPas of Goode, VA; Shelley (Dan) Ayers of Raleigh, NC; her adoptive daughter, Jennifer Meyers (Bruce) of Olean, NY; grandchildren: Kristina (Justin) Rhodes, Eugene (Taylor) tenPas Jr., Todd (Laura) tenPas, Austin (Michelle) tenPas, Holly (Tim) Harding, Howard (Erika) tenPas, Presley Ayers, Mason Ayers, Hadley Ayers, Kiersten Crabtree, Beth Crabtree, Kerrie McKenzie; two brothers, Howard (Paulette) Beckerink Jr. of North Carolina, John Beckerink of Sherman; and a sister, Johann Munger of Sherman.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard H. tenPas whom she married Oct. 12, 1968 in Stockton, NY, who died Oct. 21, 2018 and a son Derrik J. tenPas on June 27, 1994.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 2, 2026 in the Falconer Funeral Home. Rev. Gary Buchanen will officiate. Burial will be in Clymer Central Cemetery.

Friends will be received by the family one hour prior to the funeral service Saturday in the funeral home.
