Patrick H. Covey

He was born June 15, 1968 in Salamanca, NY, and was the son of the late Leon H. and Mavis Sisson Covey.

Patrick earned his bachelor’s degree at Empire State College and was employed as a Medicaid Service Coordinator at Person Centered Services in Jamestown.

Patrick was proud of his Jewish heritage and possessed an unwavering kindness and generous spirit. He adored his wife Lisa, loved his ‘adopted grandchildren’, and was thought of as a good son and brother. Pat was also an avid record collector and enjoyed riding his dirt bike.

Surviving is his wife, Lisa Covey; grandchildren, Sebastian and Amelie Niedziela and son-in-law, Paul Niedziela, all of Canada; and four sisters, Marge (Lew) Thompson of Texas, Lottie (Mitch) Abers of Westfield, and Julia Covey and Christine Benson, both of Jamestown.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Luce.

A funeral will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25th in the Lind Funeral Home, led by Joe Gerstel. Friends will be received from 4 to 6 p.m. for two hours prior to the service. Burial will be in Myrtle Cemetery.
