Pamela A. “Pam” Ostrander 65, of Ellington, passed away Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026, in her home after a long illness.
She was born Aug. 29, 1960 in Dunkirk, the daughter of the late Thomas and Joyce Fuss Austin.
Pam was a graduate of Pine Valley High School and recently retired from Tops Friendly Markets in Jamestown. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, and watching soap operas. Pam also loved sewing her daughter’s Halloween costumes and Christmas PJs. She was an animal lover and loved her family very much.
Her infectious laugh will be remembered always.
She is survived by her longtime partner, Terry Brown, of Kennedy; his daughters, Shana Burnett (Brown) (married to Kenny Burnett, with three children, Lucy, Lily, and Henry) and Beth Brown, fiance of Jared Walsh; her ex-husband, Dave Ostrander; her two daughters, Allison Ostrander, of Frewsburg, and Rachel Ostrander of Florida, partner Gunner Ruiz, and his daughter, Elise; and her grandson, Clark Carrero, of Florida. She is also survived by a brother, Dale Austin of Dunkirk, and a sister, Deena Lahnen of Sinclairville.
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Rob, Mike, and Mark; and her sister, Barb Austin.
Her memorial service will be Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026 at 1 p.m. in the Falconer Funeral Home. Pastor Jennifer Delahoy will officiate.
Friends will be received by the family from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
