Melissa Sue Goodwill Robertson

She was born Jan. 29, 1975, in Jamestown, the daughter of Thomas and Pamela Swanson Goodwill.

A 1993 graduate of Jamestown High School, she went on to earn a bachelor’s degree from Jamestown Business College.

“Missi” was employed for many years by Fessenden, Laumer & DeAngelo as a legal assistant where she was held in high regard.

She was in her glory at family gatherings, where she always provided most of the meals with plenty of extra to send home with guests. Her desserts were spectacular and innovative. She relished her role as mother and grandmother. Her other passion was attending live concerts of her favorite bands.

Surviving besides her parents of Jamestown, are her three children: Kaitlyn (Stephen) Goodwill-Piccirillo and her children, Vance, Liam and Holden all of Jamestown; Megan (Brett McMurdy) Goodwill and her children, Landan, Emma and Jace all of Kennedy; and Matthew (Kelsey Haskins) Robertson and his son, Julian of Florida; the father of her children Ryan Robertson of Jamestown; two brothers, Robert “Robb” (Cheryl) Goodwill and Thomas “Tommy” Goodwill both of Florida; a half brother, Steve (Denise) Burger of Hamburg, NY; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and her best friend and “sister”, Allison Curry King of Florida.

The funeral will be held at 4 pm Saturday in the Lind Funeral Home where friends will be received from 2-4 pm Saturday.
