Mary S. Basile, 95, of Jamestown NY, passed away Jan. 31, 2026, she was born Jan. 11, 1931, to Anthony Basile and Sara (Canfora) Basile in Jamestown NY. Mary graduated from Jamestown High School.
Mary is survived by her nephew, Samuel R. Enserro Jr. of Chicopee MA; her niece, Michelle Basile of Voorhees NJ; and her nephews, Ross Parasiliti of Plano Texas, and Robert Parasiliti of Jamestown. She is also survived by four great nieces and nephews as well as four great-great nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her cousin, Carmella Franchina with whom she made her home as well as her siblings, Catherine Galatti, Carl Basile, Clara Enserro, and Josephine Parasiliti.
Mary worked many years in medical records at WCA hospital and was a long-time parishioner of St. James. She will be missed by her many longtime friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday February 14, 2026, from 9-9:45 AM at Riccardi’s Hubert Funeral Home.
