J. Michael Digirolamo
J. Michael Digirolamo formally of Falconer, NY passed away on Mon, Feb 2., 2026 after a battle of cancer at UPMC.
In school, he was a wrestler. His hobbies were Rock n Roll, buying stocks and coins, the casino, and the Cleveland Browns. After graduation, he moved to Binghamton, NY and attended Binghamton SUNY college with a degree in business. After college, he started a tiling company. He was such an avid fan of the Browns to the point of making his family salute the team whenever they played on T.V. Go DAWGS. He was also known by his sisters jokingly that he was so smart but had no common sense lol. He moved to Charlotte, NC and opened a tiling and remodeling company where he excelled. The Charlotte Observer wrote an article about his company and said he was “the go to guy to get the job done with perfection.” He eventually made his way back to Jamestown and worked for HUD remodeling houses.
He was father of surviving sons, Frank (Danielle) and Alex. He was brother of Deb (Dave) Ostrander, Christine Digirolamo, and Cindy Gullotti. Uncle to Jason, Danielle, Chris, Sandy, Mike Jr., Paige, and Karley. Great-uncle to several nephews and nieces, and great-great uncle to Myles. He was grandpa to Allison, Christian, Callen, and twins, Devin and Dominic.
He was proceeded in death by his son, Mike and brother, Scott.
A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in honor of “Big Mike”.
