Greg Fodero
Greg Fodero
Greg Fodero, 81, of Bemus Point passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, Feb. 4th after a long and courageous battle with heart and kidney disease.
Greg grew up in Buffalo and Grand Island, graduated from the University of Buffalo and served in the U.S. Army Reserves. His employment included M&T Bank, Ford Motor Company and Arcata Graphics. Post retirement Greg worked at Moon Brook Country Club on the golf course, “my all-time favorite job” he would say, as he could watch the sunrise every morning over the Chautauqua Hills.
Greg and his wife Diana spent their retirement years between their home in Ellington and the Florida Keys, eventually downsizing and moving to Bemus Point. An avid hunter and fisherman, Greg was a lifetime member of the Ellington Rod and Gun Club and through that club made many great friends.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Diana (Dailey), loving daughter, Tiffany, sister, Francie (Gerald) Hace, and beloved nieces and cousins.
Honoring Greg’s request, no Funeral/Memorial services will be held. A celebration of Greg’s life will take place at a later time to be announced by the family.
Diana would like to thank Chautauqua Hospice for their professional support, compassion and guidance. “They Truly are Angels”. To share your condolences please visit www.lindfuneralhome.com.
