Charles I. Bova, 82, of Falconer passed away unexpectedly Thursday (February 5, 2026) in his home.
He was born August 11, 1943 in Jamestown, the son of the late Sam and Theresa Piazza Bova.
Prior to retirement Chuck was employed by MRC-SKF for 40 years.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, taking care of his home, camping, going to sales and collecting old oil cans, and constructing bird houses.
Surviving is his wife Susan B. Chapman Bova whom he married May 15, 1985 in Myrtle Beach, SC; three step children: Lisa (Jon) Reynolds of Mt. Vernon, AL, JoLynn (Jason) Hopper of Leesburg, GA, George (Nanette) Armele of North Tonawanda, NY; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; his sister Sarene (Richard) Freeman of Warren, PA, and three nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents Sam and Theresa Bova and a sister Rose Marie “Dolly” Cline.
A Celebration of Life for Chuck will be held at a later date.
