Virginia L. “Ginny” Snow, 89, of 65 Adams Street, died Thursday January 1, 2026, in Tanglewood Manor.
Born November 11, 1936, in Jamestown, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Elizabeth Briggs Peru.
She was a member of the Herman Kent Post American Legion Auxiliary and the Moose Auxiliary.
Virginia loved to iron clothes and care for her dogs. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, camping and traveling in her motor home and loved nature.
Surviving are two children Roxanne (Marion) Soldano III of Jamestown and Ronald (Julie) Snow of Benson, NC; grandchildren Brayden Snow, Chelsea (Ryan) Soderberg, Marion (Carlie) Soldano IV and Brooke Soldano; great grandchildren Miesha and Nolan Soderberg and Marion “Theo” Soldano V and a brother Donald Peru of Jamestown.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Snow, who died June 25, 2004.
The funeral will be held at 2 pm Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home, where friends will be received from noon to 2 pm Wednesday.
