Shane M. Messere

Shane is survived by his devoted son, Mateo Messere of Jacksonville, Florida; and three other children, Austin Messere, Tristan Messere and Montanna Messere all of Jamestown, NY; his grandchildren, Layla, Hartley and Miles, his siblings, Aimee (Thomas) Mattson and Gregory Messere. Also surviving, are many nieces and nephews.

Known for his humor and outrageous storytelling, Shane cherished time spent with his family and friends. He found joy in collecting small treasures and trinkets. He especially loved visiting the beach, a place that always brought him peace and comfort. Shane will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His humor, wit and carefree spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched.

A celebration of life will be held January 24, 2026, 2-5 pm at Zion Lutheran Church 45 Falconer St., Frewsburg, NY to remember Shane’s lighthearted spirit.
