MAYVILLE — Ronald Earl Hall, 81, of Dunkirk and formerly of Mayville, NY, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at Brooks Memorial Hospital in Dunkirk, NY, following a brief illness. He was born August 27, 1944, in Westfield, NY, the son of the late Earl and Mary Slayton Hall.
Ron had attended Mayville Central School. He then worked as an Equipment Operator for the Chautauqua County Highway Department in Sherman, NY, for 35 Years. He then was a truck driver for Norm Hills Trucking.
He enjoyed hunting and being in nature. Most of all he enjoyed time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Ron is survived by two grandchildren, Ron J. Hall of Olean, NY, and Shannon Hall of Erie, PA, one great-granddaughter, Juliana Hall of Florida, two brothers, Dave “Joe” (Peggy) Hall of Mayville and Reggy (Shirley) Hall of Mayville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Constance D. Mayer Hall, and two sons, Thomas Hall and Ricky Hall.
At Ron’s request, there will be no public services. A graveside service will be held in the Mayville Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
