Robert L. Scott

He was born in Buffalo, NY on Aug. 3, 1949, to his late parents, James and Alice (LaRouette) Scott.

Bob graduated from Pine Valley Central in 1968 and was immediately drafted and served his country in Vietnam as a soldier for the United State Army.

He went on to work for the United States Park Police in Washington, DC and retired after 20 years of service. After retirement he moved back to South Dayton and spent time working as a contractor.

Bob enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling and gardening.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years Kathy Colburn Scott; his brothers, James (Karen) Scott and Andrew Scott; a sister, Mary (Randy) Rowland; his stepsons, Christopher and Dale Sandy; his grandchildren, Joshua, Nicholas , Jacob Sandy and Morgan Sandy Volk; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by three sisters, Irene Kelsey, June Jamison and Susan Jamieson.

Per Bob’s request, no services will be held.
