Nicholas L. Tsitso

Nicholas L. Tsitso, 90, of Spring, Texas, died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2026, in his home.

Born July 31, 1935 in Jamestown, New York, he was the son of the late Louis and Politimi (Theologidis) Tsitso.

He was a 1953 graduate of Jamestown High School, after which he attended Purdue University before joining the U.S. Marine Corps, where he served from 1957 to 1959.

In 1980, Nick and his family moved to Massachusetts, where he raised his children and spent most of his adult life.

Prior to his retirement in 1997, he was employed by Eli Lilly & Company Pharmaceuticals in the distribution department.

He was a lifelong member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Jamestown, New York, and the YMCA.

He is survived by two sons, Michael (Tracey) Tsitso of Spring, Texas, and Jason (Sarah) Tsitso of Longmeadow, Massacusetts; grandchildren, Andrew, Dimetra, Katherine, Seth, Vivan, Javen, Lilly, Matthew, Thomas and Michael; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Terry Louis of West Palm Beach, Florida; and a sister Kathy Theofilactidis of Jamestown, New York.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Tina Eason; a grandson, Nicholas Tsitso, and a brother, Spiro Tsitso.

A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 15 at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, Jamestown, New York.

Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 14 in the Lind Funeral Home.
