Lynn H. Radack

After a weekend filled with love and laughter, Lynn H. Radack (Lala), 88, of Jamestown, passed away peacefully on Tuesday Jan. 27, 2026, surrounded by her family in her home.

She was born July 16, 1937, in Bradford, PA, the daughter of the late Chester and Margaret Rich Hagadorn.

She was a graduate of SUNY Fredonia with a degree in elementary education.

As a spouse of a military husband, she worked as a teacher in several cities including Niagara Falls, Barstow, CA, Camp LaJune, NC and lastly for 12 years in Jamestown at Ss Peter and Paul Parochial School. She continued to hear of the impact she had on her students’ lives throughout the years.

Lynn was very involved in the community as a Red Cross volunteer, election inspector, member of WPA and president of the Ss Peter and Paul parents club.

She was an avid golfer, with her ever-present companion Fred; she was a past champion and member of Jackson Valley CC and South Hills CC. Her golf friends, the Mulligan Mamas, were some of her favorite people. She was a standout athlete throughout her life excelling at basketball, swimming, softball and golf. She was also one of the funnest, wackiest members of the Eagles Club of Jamestown, Aerie 2145. Lala was an incredible dancer and spent nearly 70 years dancing with her loving husband, Bill.

In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, traveling and especially loved spending time with family. Lala was their number one fan – rarely missing a special event in their lives – no matter the distance between them. Time spent at “the beach” with a big, lively bunch of Radacks and Hagadorns was always a highlight of her year. Cheering on the Buffalo Bills was a favorite pastime. Go Bills!

Surviving is her husband William Radack, Jr., whom she married July 1, 1961; four children William (April) Radack III of Jamestown, Dr. Matthew (Jane) Radack of Wilmington, NC, Jody Radack of Jamestown and Andrew (Donna) Radack of Silver Creek, NY; grandchildren, Jessica (Bobby) McKeever of Falconer, Megan Weise of Jamestown, Noah (Taylor North) Radack of Buffalo, Rachel Radack of Buffalo, Maggie Radack of Durham, NC, Lily Radack (Gray Stowe) of Wilmington, NC, and Chet Radack of Raleigh, NC and great grandchildren Miriam, Dillon, Jack and Asa McKeever, Elliotte Radack-Stowe, Brooklynn and Jaxsyn Miller and Corey Johnson. She is also survived by many in-laws, nephews and nieces and friends who will miss her dearly. Lala’s legacy of love and fun will live on through everyone who loved her.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Hugh Hagadorn and Dr. Bruce Hagadorn.

A celebration of life will be held in the spring at a time to be announced.
