Diane Elizabeth Hallett, 82, a resident of Orchard Gove Jamestown, NY since 2018 Went to be with her Lord and savior on Jan. 21, 2026, at the Star Hospice House Lakewood, NY. Now at peace following and extended courageous journey of illness marked by resilience, courage and quite strength. She was Born on Nov. 23,1943, in Gowanda, NY.
Diane is the sister of Helen Conklin, Linda Spire and Larry Spire, She was a loving mother of five children, Ken, Doug and Beckie States, Tammy Furlow and Pam (Jon) Hinsdale, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Diane worked for Willcare, Accredited Care and dedicated 20 years of service to the Salvation Army Thrift Store. Diane had a passion for traveling, plants and flowers. She enjoyed all animals including birds, doing puzzles and reading. Diane Attended church at the Busti Church of God for many years. She was a Life member of Busti Fire Department Auxiliary. The family would like to extend a warm loving thank you to all the many people involved with care and help throughout her journey including the staff at Orchard Grove, Davita Dialysis, CARTS, Ray’s Rides, and Hospice House.
Visitation will be held on Monday, Jan. 26, 2026, from 12-1pm and 5 to 6pm At Riccardi’s Hubert Funeral Home.
On Tuesday Jan. 27, 2026, Diane will be laid to rest at the Pine Hill Cemetery in Gowanda NY.
A Celebration of Life Dinner will be held on Wednesday Jan. 28, 2026, 3 pm at the Busti Fire Department. Blessings will be given by James Quattrone.
