Diana L. Rutland, 68, of Jamestown, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, Jan. 4, 2026 in UPMC Hamot, Erie, PA.
She was born on Jan. 7, 1957 in Dunkirk, a daughter of the late Marion and Martha Woodard Dorman.
She loved her porcelain dolls, unicorns, and clowns and there was a special place in her heart for her nieces and nephews.
Diana is survived by her husband of 42 years, Gene L. Rutland, whom she married Dec. 31, 1983; four sisters: Pat Soble. Shirley Schweichter, Barb Omar, Rosa Brunot; a brother, Joseph Dorman; a sister-in-law, Cheryl Lockhart; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Bill Dorman, Margie Lincoln, Ruthie Porter, Martha Senear, and Edith Woodard Eimers.
A memorial service will be held in April, details will be shared at a later date.
