Chad Hassan Wilson, 48, of Jamestown died unexpectedly on Jan, 16, 2026, at home.

A native of Jamestown, NY, Chad was born Jan. 19, 1977, son of George A. Wilson, Sr. and the late Annie R. Wilson.

Chad graduated from Jamestown High School and worked for The Resource Center from May 2007 – May 2024.

Chad was an avid music lover. His first music Idol was Michael Jackson, who he was able to see when the Jackson Victory came to Buffalo. His love for music bore the names: Mango Lo and Celokee, and led him to write so many beautiful songs, create great beats, and produce and work with other local artists. Also, out of his love for music several radio shows Da Unwind and Da Platform and 4t5ive6zEntertainment were birthed. And he was a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Surviving is his father, George A. Wilson, Sr, his two siblings, Yolanda Wilson of Tampa, Florida, George “Andy” (Celia) Wilson, Jr. of Jamestown; five sons: Tyjai, Cayrem, Jaxsyn, Tyler, and Ryder, two granddaughters: Desiree and Mavynn Renee, two aunts: LillaDell Howard and Vicki Goble and a several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, cousins and a host of loving friends who he considered family.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Annie R. Wilson, a brother, Gregg Wilson, a sister, Dr. Loretta JoAnn Wilson Wade, and two special cousins, Garrett Goble and Joseph Austin, and his grandparents.

There will be no visitation observed, the family will hold a private gathering at a later date.
