Alexis “Lexi” Marie Madonia

Alexis “Lexi” Marie Madonia

Alexis “Lexi” Marie Madonia, 21, of Jamestown went into the arms of Jesus Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2026 at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo.

She was born April 6, 2004 at Children’s Hospital in Buffalo and had years-long battles with health issues.

Lexi had, from the beginning, faith in her savior Jesus Christ, and the belief that prayer heals – she was the family’s prayer warrior. Lexi loved giving hugs and had a tender heart for others. She loved when you would pray with her for her family, friends, classmates and school family. Lexi received Christ into her life as a young child. She loved Jesus with all her heart and looked forward to going to heaven.

A graduate of Falconer High School, Lexi loved outings with her classmates, her teacher Mr. Fiasco and his jokes, and her favorite teacher’s aide, Theresa. She loved dancing, music (Kari Jobe and listening to Matt Redmond sing ‘When We All Get To Heaven), any good joke, cooking shows – especially the Pioneer Woman and Barefoot Contessa – the color purple, shopping at Walmart, and watching Christian movies and her favorite pastors on T.V.

Lexi was limited as she got older and her last months were difficult, walking, eating and even standing. But she was healed on January 20th and is present with the Lord, walking and running on streets of glory.

She is survived by her father, Stephen Madonia; mother, Marcel “Marcy” Madonia; sister, Hannah Madonia; grandparents, Patricia Madonia and Joe & Barb DeCastro; aunts and uncles, Christina (Wes) Knisley, and Jody (Jen) DeCastro and their children, Madalynn & Carolynn; as well as many cousins.

Lexi was preceded in death by her grandfather, Angelo Madonia and an aunt, Lynn DeCastro.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24 at Conduit Ministries, 120 Delaware Ave. in Jamestown. The family will be present to greet friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. prior to the service in the church. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Falconer.

Memorials may be made to Conduit Ministries, 120 Delaware Ave., Jamestown, NY 14701. To share condolences or a memory, please visit www.lindfuneralhome.com.
