Ryan William Sampson, 37, of Jamestown, New York, passed away unexpectedly on Dec.28, 2025. He was born on April 16, 1988. He was a 2006 graduate of Maple Grove High School.

Ryan was the beloved son of Cynthia Sampson of Jamestown and Michael Sampson (Cindy) of Jamestown. He was a loving brother to Adam Sampson (Courtney) of Bemus Point, and a devoted uncle to his niece and nephew. He was also a cherished grandson of James and Christine Emborsky of Lakewood. He was preceded in death by his grandparents William and Lois Ball and William Sampson.

Ryan had a deep love for hobbies that brought him joy and comfort. He enjoyed RC cars and video games, was a devoted NASCAR fan–especially of Mark Martin–and was a Star Wars fanatic, with Boba Fett and Darth Vader among his favorites.

Above all else, Ryan’s greatest joy in life was being Uncle Ryan to Robert and Ellarie, whom he loved dearly and took immense pride in.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ryan’s memory to Oishei Children’s Hospital. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Ryan will be remembered for his quiet kindness, his passions, and the love he had for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
