Richard “Rich” Edward Lindstrom, 82, passed away at home on Dec. 12, 2025, his wife of 39 years, Judy Lindstrom preceded him in death ten days earlier. Born on Feb. 24, 1943, in Jamestown, New York he was a current resident of Lancaster, South Carolina. His career in sales and distribution was in the textile machinery and grocery industries.
He is survived by his three children, Mike Lindstrom (Debbie), Ryan Lindstrom (Kathy) Ryan Smith (Tiffanie) and his four stepchildren, Scott Smith, Donna Smith, Peter Smith, and Todd Smith. He was grandfather to Nicole, Peter, Andrew, Addison, Chase, Easton, Thomas, and Jack, and four great-grandchildren. He is survived by his sisters, Cathy Prince (Randy) and Lori Sakorafis (Anthony) and many cousins with whom he spent his formative years.
He was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Myrtle Lindstrom.
