Patricia A. DuBois
Patricia A. DuBois
Patricia A. DuBois, 79, formerly of 1056 Forest Ave., passed away Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025 at Heritage Park Rehab & Skilled Nursing.
A Jamestown native, she was born June 21, 1946, one of seven children of the late Richard and Betty Blizzard DuBois, and was a 1964 graduate of Jamestown High School.
Pat served as a staff accountant for Seidman and Seidman for many years before deciding to open her own practice where she had many clients who loved her. She served on the boards of the Humane Society and Habitat for Humanity.
Additionally, together with her long-time friend, the late Minnette Elder, she bred and raised llamas for many years as well. Pat ultimately decided the llamas were family and instead called her farm, Misti-Ro Assisted Living for Llamas. They typically would have 50 or more llamas most of the time at the farm. During these years, Pat traveled a great deal and won many ribbons in shows. She would also often take one of her llamas to Dr. Childress’s office to visit patients. An avid golfer, Pat was a member of Moon Brook Country Club and with Minette had traveled to Scotland to play at St. Andrews.
Those who knew and loved Pat will always remember her kind and compassionate nature.
Surviving are her four siblings: James DuBois of Frewsburg, NY, John DuBois of Twinsburg, OH, Nancy DuBois of Viera. FL, and Linda Lyford of Littleton, CO.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard in 1984 and mother, Betty in 2008; sister, Barbara Jaroszynski in 1995 and brother, Richard DuBois in 1967; and Minnette Elder in 2019.
Following Pat’s wishes, no service or visitation will be observed.
Memorials may be made to Habitat for Humanity, 16 W. Main St., Fredonia, NY 14063; or Chautauqua County Humane Society, 2825 Strunk Rd., Jamestown, NY 14701.
