Louise Eva Davison, 91, of 239 Forest Avenue, Jamestown, NY passed away peacefully at 4:20 pm on Dec. 3, 2025, at her home under the compassionate care of Chautauqua Hospice and Palliative Care and a dedicated team of caregivers.
A native of Chautauqua County, she was born Jan. 21, 1934, in Falconer, New York, the daughter of the late Irvin and Lydia WilsonTerry.
Louise attended Celoron School and worked at National Worsted Mills, American Manufacturing and WCA Hospital. She particularly loved children and provided loving care in her home for many children over the years.
Louise worshipped at Lakewood Baptist Church with her husband Harold prior to his death and then with her good friends, P. Christian Yates and Penelope Hutton Yates. Louise asked Jesus into her heart as a child in Sunday School at Chandler Street Baptist Church, Jamestown.
She leaves two sisters and several nieces and nephews. Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Harold W. Davison, who she married Jan. 24, 1959, and who died July 15, 2004, by her sister, Shirley Harbison, to whom Louise had donated a kidney in 1975, and three brothers.
A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, 2025, at Lakewood Baptist Church. The Reverend Nathaniel Hlad, lead pastor of Lakewood Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be next to Harold in Lakeview Cemetery. There will be a luncheon provided following the service.
