Laura L. Hettenbaugh

Laura Lee (Milks) Hettenbaugh, 85, of Church Street, Randolph, passed away Wednesday (Dec. 17, 2025) at ECMC in Buffalo. .

Mrs. Hettenbaugh was born Sept. 26, 1940 in Salamanca, the daughter of the late Emerson and Loretta Drew Milks.

Laura Lee was a 1958 graduate of Little Valley School and was a Home Maker for her family.

She was a charter member of the former Randolph Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 2273 and was a member of the ladies auxiliary for both the Randolph American Legion Unit t 181 and the Randolph Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6533. She enjoyed bowling and bingo.

She is survived by two daughters; Terry (Tim Bradley) Hettenbaugh-Shaw of Little Valley, Donna (Maceo Wofford) Beaver of Jamestown, three sons; Wayne (Donna) Hettenbaugh, Kenneth (Jennifer) Hettenbaugh and Daniel (Sue) Hettenbaugh all of Randolph, 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

She is additionally survived by three sisters; Linda (Late Barry) Gower of Randolph, Bettie (late Jim Snyder) Atkins of Randolph and Mary Jane (Late Kevin) McLaughlin of CT.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald J. Hettenbaugh, whom she married Aug. 26, 1960 and who preceded her on Aug. 18, 2015, Siblings, Ann Howard, Janice Hinman, David G. Milks and Shirley Nowocien.

As per Laura Lee’s wishes, there will be no visitation or public service held. Arrangements are entrusted to the Van Rensselaer & Son Funeral Home, 14 Church Street, Randolph. Burial/Inurnment will be in the Randolph Cemetery.
