Joel T. Gaden

After graduating from Lehigh University and receiving a commission in the US Army, Joel began his career in banking and finance in New York City. In the late 1960s, his family moved to Jamestown, NY, and for the following two decades he served as President of the former Bank of Jamestown and subsequently the then First National Bank. In addition, Joel served on the boards of a variety of charitable human service agencies.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy F. Gaden and is survived by his three children: Nancy W. Gaden (Lisa) of Milton, MA; William S. Gaden (Peter) of New York, NY; and Julie Gaden Lechner (Paul) of Holly Springs, NC; and his two grandchildren, Ani Gaden O’Donnell (Evan) and Jerome Allan Lechner.
