Jane E. Ackley

She was born on March 4, 1934 in Buffalo, NY, a daughter of the late Fred G. and Genevieve Bosely Smith.

Jane was a 1953 graduate of Jamestown High School.

She had been a member of Trinity Church (formerly Trinity United Methodist) in Frewsburg.

Jane worked in banking prior to retirement.

Jane is survived by her children, Timothy A. and William F. Carlson; two grandchildren, Heather and Cory Carlson; five nieces and nephews Mark, Jeff, Christine, Robin, Kim; and close friends Kathy (Dennis) Phanco.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Theodore F. Smith and a sister Suzanne Winberg.

In keeping with Jane’s wishes, no service or visitation will be observed. Inurnment will be in Lake View Cemetery.
