Gladys E. Ferraro Eggleston

A lifelong area resident she was born Dec. 21, 1956 in Jamestown, the daughter of the late Robert J. and Gladys E. Michael Little Sr.

Gladys was a graduate of Maple Grove High School and Jamestown School of Nursing where she earned her Registered Nursing License.

In earlier years, Gladys was employed as a registered nurse for several hospitals and had many other jobs. But most of all Gladys was a dedicated homemaker and enjoyed crafting, baking, making candy and spending time with her family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She enjoyed going on trike motorcycle rides with her husband Allyn and watching professional wrestling. Gladys was a member of the Ellington Volunteer Fire Department and Ellington Fire Dept. Auxiliary.

Surviving is her husband, Allyn B. Eggleston; a son, Richard Brown Jr.; three step children: Rose C. Eggleston, Brittney L. (John) Bragg, Brandon S. Eggleston; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; her brother, Jake (Cathy) Little of Governor, NY; and her dog, Gypsy.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters: Debra L. Brown, Elaine L. Robinson and several brothers and sisters.

As per Gladys wishes, there will be no funeral service or visitation.
