Dolores J. Biscup

She was born on Sept. 7, 1935 in Jamestown, a daughter of the late Howard and Adele (Jorenby) Snyder. Dolores worked as a Social Worker for the Jennie B. Richmond Nursing Home. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Springville and, in her free time, enjoyed reading, volunteering, camping, gardening, and walking.

She is survived by her children: Jason (Diane) Biscup of Springville, Scott Biscup of West Babylon, NY, Lisa (Charles) Biscup-Rumfola of Springville, and Kim (Thomas) Biscup-Rico of Plainview, NY; her grandchildren: Arianne, Dianne, Jesse, Adam, David, Taylor, Thomas, and Nicholas; six great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Earlon Biscup, whom she married on May 15, 1954 in Randolph, NY. He passed away on February 15, 2021. She was also predeceased by her brothers, James and Frank Snyder as well as her daughter-in-law, Doris Biscup.

Friends and family may call on Thursday, Dec. 4, 2025 from 6-8pm at the Smith-Weismantel Funeral Home, 271 E. Main St., Springville. A Funeral Service will be held the following day, Friday, December 5, 2025 at 12 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Springville, 38 N. Buffalo St., Springville. Interment will follow in Bunker Hill Cemetery, Steamburg.
