David L. Holley
David L. Holley, 84 of Orangeburg, SC, formally of Gerry/Kenndy went home to be with his Heavenly Father Nov. 17, 2025 at MUSC Hospital in Orangeburg, SC.
He was born Nov. 13, 1941 in Huntington, WV, the son of the late Rev. Oran Holley and Iris A. Holley/Seeley.
In October 1981, he married Mariann Powell of Kennedy, NY.
David is survived by his brother, Richard (Linda) Holley of Gerry; two nephews, Paul (Michelle) Holley of Sinclairville, Tracy (Rebecca) Holley of Webster, NY; a niece, Tammy (Mike) Clark of Kennedy, NY; and a sister-in-law, Donna (Paul) Wood of Rotterdam, NY.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mariann and brother, Paul Stephen Holley in1964.
David graduated from Cassadaga Valley Central School in 1959 and Robert Wesleyan College in 1963. He served two years in the US Army 1964-1966.
David worked at Chautauqua National Bank/Marine Midland Bank and retired from Chautauqua County Offices in Mayville.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Thompson Funeral Home in Orangeburg, SC.
A celebration of life will be held at Lighthouse Christian Camp, Barker, NY Summer 2026.
