Christine S. (Seager) Yeager

Mrs. Yeager was born Dec. 19, 1948 in Olean, the daughter of the late Edward Samuel Seager and Helen E. (Nee’ Kayes) Seager.

Christine was a graduate of Olean High School class of 1966, and Jamestown County Community College Olean Campus with a degree in Social Services.

She was raised Catholic and Confirmed at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Olean. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Samuel L. Derby Post 556 in Frewsburg. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and riding four wheelers and hunting with Tom.

Christine is survived by three children, Rachel (Mark) Wright and Deena (Justin)Watts, both of Pennsylvania and Mark Yeager of Oklahoma, a step son; Thomas Achantz of California, step-daughter; Kelly Rigsbee of Raleigh, NC 13 grandchildren, a sister, Delores Estes of Olean and many great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Helen, her partner; Thomas L. Achatz on March 26, 2023 and Siblings, Ronald Seager and Helen Louis Peterson.

As per Christine’s wishes, there will be no visitation held. A private celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the VanRensselaer & Son Funeral Home, 14 Church Street, Randolph, New York 14772.
