Barbara J. Pool

She was born Nov. 18, 1955, in Westfield, NY, a daughter of the late Clair and Geraldine Grover Donelson.

Prior to her retirement, she worked for Home Depot in Florida and later in Lakewood as a sales associate in the garden department.

Barbara was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and devoted sister who treasured every moment spent with her family. She will be remembered for her generous heart, her deep love of nature and animals, and the steady strength she carried throughout her life.

She is survived by her son, William (Mary) Pool; grandchildren Tristan (Luis) Perdomo and Cody Pool; great-grandchildren Luna and Ezra Perdomo; and her siblings Joyce Pratt of Ashville, NY; Kathryn Harper of North Carolina; Jean (Bruce) Manwaring of Niobe, NY; and Clair (Jane) Donelson Jr. of Ashville, NY.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jon Randy Pool, who passed away on May 11, 2009.

A graveside memorial service will be held at a later date.
