William “Bill” George Bryant, 78, of Dewittville, NY, passed away at his home on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025, with family by his side, following a brief illness. He was born on Sept. 13, 1947, in Cleveland, OH, the son of the late George W. and Harriett T. Hugo Bryant.
He was a 1965 graduate of Euclid Senior High School, Euclid, Ohio. He then proudly served his country in the United States Navy having served in Vietnam as an Aeronautics Technician. After his honorable discharge, he worked for Inductoheat, Inc. in Detroit, MI, as a Regional Sales Manager. He also owned and operated his own business, Automation Services, Inc., in Bemus Point, NY for ten years.
Bill was a member of the Ellery VFW Post 557, the Cassadaga American Legion Post 1280, and was formerly a member of the West Valley Volunteer Hose Company. He was a very reserved man, yet social. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, and taking care of his property. Most of all, he was a family man.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Ellen, whom he married April 4, 1970, three children Terri (Drew), Chris (Andrea), Kevin, five grandchildren Emma (Kevin), Lauren, Caroline (Chase), Addi, Will, and one great granddaughter Leah.
In addition to his wife and family, he is survived by his sisters, DeeEtte and Linda, and many extended family members.
At Bill’s request, there will be no public visitation. A private memorial service will be held by the family. A celebration of life will be held from 2 to 4PM on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025, at the Ellery VFW Post 557 (4498 Dutch Hollow Road, Bemus Point, NY 14712).
