Theresa Panetti Moore, 95, of Jamestown, NY entered into rest on Monday, Nov. 24, 2025, at Heritage Park. In most recent years she resided at Brookdale. She was born in Jamestown on Oct. 8, 1930, to the late Pearl Trunzo Panetti.
Theresa was a 1948 graduate of Jamestown High School. She worked for Weber Knapp before spending many years as the General Ledger Supervisor at WCA Hospital. In 1974, she married the late George Moore Sr. Theresa valued her family above all else and especially enjoyed making holidays special and memorable.
A devout Catholic, Theresa was a member of St. John Catholic Church and Epiphany Cathedral in Venice, Florida. She volunteered at various charities and was also involved with many community organizations in both Jamestown and Florida. Theresa enjoyed spending winters in Florida, and participated in many activities, including spending time with friends. She leaves behind a cherished legacy with her family, friends and community involvement.
The Celebration of Life for Theresa will be held at 1 pm Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2025, at Lind Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Catholic Charities, James Pendergast Library, and St. Susan’s soup kitchen.
