Stephanie A. Rowe, 52, of Jamestown, N.Y. died unexpectedly on Nov. 3, 2025, in Olean General Hospital and with her family by her side.

Stephanie was born at W.C.A. Hospital on June 13, 1973, in Jamestown, N.Y. She is the daughter of the late Dorothy R. “Dolly” (Wheeler) Cochrane (Robert E. “Bob” Cochrane) and Thomas “Tom” Bemis of Jamestown, N.Y.

Stephanie is a 1991 graduate of Southwestern High School.

Stephanie was very intelligent and had an avid interest in psychology and had been taking online courses. She also took a Criminal Justice class at Jamestown Community College after High School. Stephanie was a great artist and loved to draw unicorns, horses and write poetry. She loved listening to music and always had her favorite music playing, she was an animal lover and her pets were family. She loved animals from the day she could walk and talk. She had dogs, cats, a cow and some other animals as small child on the farm with her mom.

She had a great sense of humor and could make just about anyone laugh. She did an extremely good impression of Bobcat Goldthwait. Stephanie loved music festivals and would attend to watch her sister Charity’s band Big Legg Emma perform. Stephanie loved to collect stuffed animals and had quite a large collection. She was a big fan of Stevie Nicks (Fleetwood Mac) and loved Pink Floyd. Stephanie loved her children with all her heart and looked forward to every visit with them and every chance to see her grandchildren.

Stephanie had recently accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and she was looking forward to getting baptized. She enjoyed listening to Pastor Reeves sermons on her CDs at home. Now she can rest in the arms of the Savior, free from pain and sorrow and rejoicing in the presence of the Almighty!

Stephanie is survived by her husband, David Rowe, whom she married on September 7, 2001 in Jamestown, N.Y.; a daughter: Annessa (Llamarr)Winston of Cheektowaga, N.Y., two sons: Tyler Bemis of Jamestown, N.Y. and Eric Pettabon of Jamestown N.Y.; two sisters: Charity Nuse (fiance Rory Luvison) of Sugar Grove, P.A. And

Roseanne Nelson (Zack Rose now eggleston) of Jamestown, N.Y.; four grandchildren: Avery Winston, Leon Winston, Raven Bemis and Brayden Bemis; two nephews: Jerecho Johnson and Phoenix Luvison and two nieces: Sophie Nelson and Miley Nelson.

Stephanie was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Gordon and Edith Wheeler whom she loved very much, also by Uncle Dale Wheeler, Uncle Earl Matteson, and her parents: Dorothy (Robert) Cochrane and Thomas Bemis.

A memorial and funeral service will be held on Tuesday Nov. 11, 2025 beginning at 11:30 am and 12 pm respectively at New Creation Assembly of God Church, 116 S. Main St. Jamestown, New York. You can come at 11 am to visit with family and friends and share favorite memories you may have of Stephanie with her family.

Burial will be at Myrtle Cemetery in Kennedy NY with her mother Dorothy. Anyone who wants to go with the family to the cemetery after the service is over may do so.
