Michael A. Lundsten
Michael A. Lundsten, 56, of Ellington passed away unexpectedly Friday, Nov. 21, 2025 in his home due to natural causes.
A lifelong area resident, he was born Dec. 13, 1968 in Jamestown, the son of James D. Lundsten and the late Bonnie (Vaughn) Benner.
Mike attended Randolph High School and served his country in the US Army. As of 2022 Mike, along with his oldest son Michael, took over the family business, JDL Machine, in Ellington.
He enjoyed spending time at his camp, spending time with family, hunting, fishing, golfing, and shooting pool. Mike was also currently serving on the board for the Ellington Rod & Gun Club.
Surviving are two sons, Michael (Alyssa) Lundsten, Matthew (Kelsie) Lundsten all of Randolph; his father, James Lundsten of Falconer; two brothers, James D. Lundsten (Nikki Spontaneo) of Kennedy, Andrew Schobey of Falconer; two sisters, Vicki Lundsten (Jim Brown) of Falconer, Debbie (Randy) Luce of Randolph; Grandchildren: Walker, Devyn and Brandt Lundsten all of Randolph; Marlie, Chloie and Lucas Lundsten all of Randolph; Isaiah and Savannah Washington both of Falconer. He is also remembered with love by several bonus grandchildren who held a special place in his heart, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie Benner; his step mother, Diane Lundsten; and multiple uncles and aunts.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Falconer Funeral Home. Pastor Jennifer Delahoy Chaplain of Ellington Volunteer Fire Department will officiate.
