Kathy Lynn Heitman

Kathy was rich in spirit, kind in heart, and unwavering in love. Kathy always put the needs of others before her own.

Kathy loved many things in life but nothing more than her family. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Kathy is survived by her husband of 47 years, Dick Heitman of Jamestown, NY; her two sons, Rich and Steven Heitman; and her two grandchildren, Wylder and Cash Heitman, all of Charlotte, NC. All of them were the apples of her eye. Kathy is also survived by her mother, Donna Gustafson of Jamestown, NY; her sister, Debbie Johnson of Gerry, NY; and many additional loved family members.

Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Raymond K. Allen; her stepfather, Brian L. Gustafson; and her brother, Raymond K. Allen, Jr.

Kathy’s many passions included quilting, puzzles, reading, fishing, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of the Women of the Moose and the Chautauqua Lake Fishing Association.

A celebration of life to honor Kathy will be held on Saturday, Nov. 29th 2025 at the Lind Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., immediately followed by a brief service to be held at 11 a.m.
