Jack S. Saullo, 71, of Jamestown, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2025. He was born in Dunkirk on Oct. 7, 1954, to the late Jake and Angie Genco Saullo.
A hardworking machinist at SKF for 37 years, Jack remained a proud member of Union 338. So, too, he maintained allegiance to the Sons of Italy.
Jack was a joyful grandfather, upholding utmost compassion and adoration when spending time with his granddaughter. He also loved the game of golf, playing endless rounds across the decades. His football fandom remained with the Cleveland Browns as well as cheering for the New York Yankees.
Jack’s spirit will be deeply missed by his wife, Deena Spencer Saullo; his son, Dr. Christopher (Jennifer) Wilcox; his granddaughter, his pride and joy, Madison Wilcox; his siblings, John (Nancy) Saullo, Judy (Harry) Netti, and James “Bugsy” (Veronica) Saullo; as well as his nieces and nephews, Ellen, Jacob, Justin, Andrea, his Godson James, Lindsey, Johnny, Dana, and Renee. Jack remained especially close with an intimate group of friends, including his cousin, Tony Genco.Besides his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his infant brother, Jimmy John Saullo, and his sister, Toni Sielski.
The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 1-3pm on Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025, at Lind Funeral Home. A memorial service of memory sharing will follow at 3pm at Lind’s.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made, in Jack’s memory, to the Jamestown Boys and Girls Club, 62 Allen Street, Jamestown, NY 14701.
