Edward L. Whitford Jr.

A lifelong Jamestown resident, he was born Jan. 3, 1974, a son of Nancy Harmon Waterman and the late Edward Whitford, Sr.

Ed was a handyman who liked to do odd jobs involving construction. He will be remembered as a man with a good sense of humor who enjoyed fishing, drawing, playing video games, wrestling and cheering for the Buffalo Bills. More than anything he loved his family and playing with his grandchildren.

Surviving besides his mother is his wife, Keirsten Maidel Whitford; children, Christopher (Elena) Whitford, Correy Whitford and Edward (Nevaeh) Whitford III; grandchildren, Ben, Elizabeth, Emily and Isla; stepfather Richard Waterman; brothers, David (Vicky) Whitford, Tobias (Brenda) Whitford, Scott (Michelle) Waterman, Jason Waterman, Richard Fox, Robert Goodwin III and Doug Goodwin; sisters, Debra (Dean) Abbey, Amylynn (Chuck) Stafford, Mary (Donald) Mohney, Pamela Waterman, Lisa Fox and Laura Goodwin; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Beside his father, he was preceded in death by brother, Joshua Whitford and Nephew, Charles Brown (Buddy) III.

The funeral will be held at 2 pm Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025 in the Lind Funeral Home, where friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Friday.
