Douglas L. Ferry

Forestville — Douglas L. Ferry, 66, of Forestville, died Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at his residence. He was born in Dunkirk on November 12, 1959, the son of the late Gern and Elinor (Martin) Ferry, Jr.

Doug was a graduate of Forestville Central School, Class of 1977 and worked for the former Forestville Hardware with his parents. He was a life member of the Forestville Fire Department where he was also an EMT. Doug was an avid Buffalo Bills fan, enjoyed hunting & fishing and at one-time was in a pool league and bowling league.

Survivors include a son, Joshua Ferry, of Buffalo, a sister Linda (Gregory) Precthl, of Fredonia and a brother Ronald (Trish) Ferry of Forestville. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring.

The family suggests memorials may be made to Forestville Fire Department, Inc., PO Box 299, Forestville, NY 14062. Arrangements are by Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, Forestville.
