Sheila J. Witford

She was the beloved daughter of George and Jane Fowler (both deceased), and the cherished wife of the late Robert Ralph Whitford, with whom she shared a lifetime of memories until his passing in 2009.

Sheila is survived by her children, George Andrew Whitford of Charlotte, NC, and Andrea Renee Rogers of Frostproof, Fla.; her grandchildren, Tracey Matve, Tyler Dalton, Damien Dalton, and Hadly Dapuzzo-Kilpert; and her great-grandchildren Jaxon, Jacobi, Jesiah, Jaislynne, Milani, Natalina, Eliana, and River. She also leaves behind her loving brothers, Roger Fowler of Sarasota, Fla., and Timothy Fowler of Stockton, NY. She was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Fowler.

Known for her quick wit and infectious humor, Sheila brought joy to everyone around her. Her passion for bowling and golf was matched only by her deep love for her family. Whether cheering on her grandchildren or sharing stories with friends, Sheila’s warmth and good-natured spirit made every moment brighter.

She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend–someone who lived with passion, laughed often, and loved deeply.

A celebration of life will be held on Nov. 8 at the Belle-View East in Falconer, NY from 1-3pm for fun storytelling and remembrance. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Sheila’s memory by spending time with loved ones and sharing a laugh in her name.
