Robert E. Howe, 83, of 2123 Southwestern Drive, Lakewood, passed away Sunday, Oct. 12, 2025 at UPMC Hamot in Erie. He was the husband of Janet Barnard Howe whom he married in 1962.
Bob was born Nov. 6, 1941 in Brockway, PA, a son of the late Frank and Ruth Carpenter Howe. A graduate of Jamestown High School, he was a machinist employed first by Crescent Tool before retiring in 2005 from Ellison Bronze.
Bob was an avid bowler and golfer and enjoyed shooting pool with his friends at Connect 55. He was also a big Buffalo Bills fan.
Along with his wife, Janet, he is survived by their son, Larry Howe of Cheektowaga, NY; brother-in- law, Myrl Johnson of Frewsburg and sister-in-law, Linda Howe of Penn Yan, NY; nephews, Tim and Peter Howe; and a niece, Karen Keays.
In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded in death by a brother, William Howe and sister, Betty Howe.
A memorial service will be held on a date to be announced in Nov. by the Lind Funeral Home.
