Marie A. Saeli

She was born on October 11, 1952 in Jamestown, a daughter of the late Joseph F. and Mary Josephine Lupica Saeli.

Marie attended Frewsburg Central School and growing up attended the former Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Frewsburg.

For many years, she worked at her family’s restaurant, Coconut Grove. She had also worked at the Frewsburg Hotel and American Legion.

Marie had many friends in Warren and Frewsburg that she loved spending time with and talking to on the phone. Her family meant a lot to her. She was also an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills and NASCAR.

She is survived by her siblings: Toni Jo Wulf of Parrish, FL, Tori Jo Hoover of Sugar Grove, Joseph F. (Luann) Saeli of California, PA, Mary Jo (Jerry) Hanson and Wendy Lee (David) Abbey, both of Russell; and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and one great-great niece Skye.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Joseph Saeli in 1956.

Her funeral service will be held at 6 pm on Sunday, Oct. 12, 2025 in Peterson Funeral Home, Frewsburg. Rev. Mel McGinnis will officiate. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 3-6 pm on Sunday in the funeral home.
