Kimberly A. Riley
Kimberly A. Riley (nee Lund), 66, of Yarmouth Port, was “Promoted to Glory” on Sept. 14, 2025, after a lifetime of service to others.
A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Kim was the steady force behind her family’s success: supporting her husband’s career, cheering on her sons, and delighting in her grandchildren.
A graduate of Jamestown High School in Jamestown, NY, she was a talented euphonium player and studied music education at SUNY Potsdam’s Crane School of Music. A highlight of her musical career was performing at the 1980 Winter Olympics, including the gold medal ceremony for the U.S. Men’s Hockey Team.
After college, Kim pursued a career in social work. She served as Director of Domestic Violence Services for The Salvation Army in Jamestown, NY and later spent over 25 years as Director of Social Ministries at the Hyannis Corps. Her work supported thousands of individuals and families, particularly through the “Dress A Live Doll” program, which ensured hundreds of children received full sets of clothing each Christmas.
Kim is survived by her husband of 45 years, Michael; sons Patrick and his wife, Stephanie of Dennis and Steven and his wife, Rose of Marquette, MI; her mother Yole Lund; sisters Karin Weikart and Ellen Lund, all of Jamestown, NY and grandchildren Moira, Marnie, Myles and Micah. She was predeceased by her father, Berger Lund and brother, Timothy Lund.
