Kathyrn M. Johnson

She was born on Feb. 2, 1959 in Warren, PA, a daughter of the late Harold and Margaret Patrick Slack.

Kathy attended Warren area schools. In earlier years, along with her late husband Douglas, enjoyed boating, camping, and attending concerts.

She had been employed at CRI Home Services in Warren, and in earlier years at Truck-Lite Co in Falconer and Bluestem Brands Distribution Center in Irvine, PA.

Kathy is survived by her sister, Chris (Dave) Jones of Pittsfield, PA; step-daughter, Michele Vinton; several grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, her beloved dog, “Jax”, and close friends, Shelly Perschke and Lisa Clinton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas L. Johnson, who passed away on May 2, 2013, and a brother, James Ciprich.

A celebration of Kathy’s life will be held from 5-7 pm on Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2025 at the American Legion Samuel Derby Post 556 in Frewsburg, NY. Burial will be in Fentonville Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Peterson Funeral Home, Frewsburg.
