David A. Bourquin
David A. Bourquin, 64, of Jamestown passed away unexpectedly Monday, Oct. 27, 2025 in his home due to natural causes.
A lifelong area resident he was born Aug. 21, 1961 in Dunkirk, the son of the late I. David and Lelya Brown Bourquin.
David was a graduate of Brocton High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving from 1979 to 1980.
He was employed by Inscape Dowcraft and later by Aspire. David enjoyed camping, his 1967 Camero and enjoyed attending car shows. He also enjoyed his dog Bubba and his two cats Shitsue and Itzy.
Surviving is his wife, Lori G. Peterson Bourquin whom he married Sept. 15, 1990 in First Lutheran Church, Jamestown; a brother, Westley Bourquin; three sisters: Laura Bourquin, Kimberly Bourquin, Betsy Bourquin; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Steven (Natalie) Peterson, Diane Peterson, Laurie Peterson, Dave (Deb) Peterson; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Edward J. Bourquin; Maternal Grandparents, Chrystle and Eva Brown; his Paternal Grandparents, Augusta and Beatrice Bourquin; Foster Grandparents, Edward and Laura Hills and two brothers-in-law, John and Jeff Peterson.
The funeral will be at 12 p.m. Friday in the Falconer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
