Carole F. Dean

A native of Gowanda, she was born Feb. 22, 1933, the daughter of the late Stanley and Marian Clark Poquadeck.

A retiree of WCA Hospital, she later returned to work as a beloved lunch lady with Jamestown Public Schools.

Carole enjoyed bird watching and loved spending time with family and longtime friends.

Surviving are three children, Kim Wion of Busti and Beth (Gordy) Starks and Mark (Joanne) Dean, both of Jamestown; grandchildren, Jeremy Wion, Bill and Matt Ehrman, Doug and Marisa Lanphere, Conner and Kyle Dean and Kaitlyn Melendez; and a great granddaughter, Bella Ehrman.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Dean in 1994; a son, Gary Ehrman and an infant son, David Ehrman.

A private graveside service will be held in Sunset Hill Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Visitation will not be observed.
