Carl K. Peterson, Jr.
Carl K. Peterson, Jr., 78, of Jamestown, died Friday, Oct. 10, 2025, in UPMC Chautauqua.
He was born May 30, 1947, in Jamestown, a son of the late Carl and Margaret Nelson Peterson, Sr.
A 1965 graduate of Jamestown High school, he went on to earn a degree from the University of Corpus Christi, where he was a member of the Sigma Pi fraternity.
While living in Jamestown, he was a cab driver for various companies.
Carl was an avid sports fan especially of the Buffalo Bills, Cleveland Guardians and Boston Red Sox.
Surviving is his brother, Joel Peterson of Jamestown; two nephews, Joel Miranda Peterson and Robert (Kristin) Peterson; and great nieces and nephews: Jack and Madelyn Peterson and Liam and Rose Peterson.
A memorial service will be held at 2 pm Thursday in the Lind Funeral Home where friends will be received for 30 minutes prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research hospital.
